Lyfeguard is designed with strong security built in. Alongside these protections, there are steps you can take to add an extra layer of security to your account.

How to improve your account security

Here are a few simple ways to keep your account as secure as possible.

Use a strong password

A strong password makes it harder for someone to access your account without permission. Make sure your password:

  • Has at least 12 characters

  • Includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters

  • Contains at least one number and one special character

You can update your password at any time from your account settings.

Login with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Every Lyfeguard account is protected with MFA. When you log in, you'll enter:

  1. Your password

  2. A one-time code sent to your phone

The extra step helps keep your account secure, even if someone else knows your password.

Understand session timeouts

Lyfeguard automatically logs you out after 10 minutes of inactivity. This reduces the risk of someone accessing your account if you step away from your device.

Review your Activity Log

Your Activity Log shows recent activity linked to your account, such as logins and changes you've made. Checking this regularly can help you spot anything unusual.

You can access your Activity Log from Edit My Account.
